Supernet Limited, Pakistan’s biggest private sector networking company, recently announced plans to upgrade and transform its 100 sites to solar energy.
In collaboration with a Global Organization, Supernet Limited is launching a project named “Solar Solutions.”
In the first phase of the project, 68 sites will be solarized. The net cost of the project is estimated to be $1 million. The estimated capacity of the project is 1,200 MW of solar power per annum. It would save electricity costs of approximately 50 million PKR each year.
The project will start giving a return on investment within 3 to 4 years. The current contract for solar installation is for two years which is extendable for up to 5 years.
Supernet Limited is Pakistan’s reputed networking company which has been operational for more than 25 years.
