Lahore: Zero Carbon, a renowned Pakistani solar integration company, has inked a deal with KMLG Group to install 20 MegaWatts Solar Plant.
The KMLG headquarters will be shifted to green energy to facilitate its operations. The solar plant would generate 28,780,000 kWh per annum and is expected to reduce 16,928.39 tonnes of GHG annually.
CEO Sayeed Saigol attended the inauguration ceremony. The delegation includes Bilal Afzal, Director of Punjab Group; Mohsin Naqvi, Director of Finance KMLG; Sabawoon Khan, Head of Power & Utility KMLG; Xingxiaobing, Managing Director Huawei Pakistan Digital Power Business; Balawal Babar, Head of Sales Zero Carbon, Ms. Haania Ali, Manager Brands, Punjab Group along with many others.
The project has the potential to revolutionize the operations of Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group by providing low-cost electricity to optimize the production costs of their products.
Sayeed Saigol, the CEO of KMLG, remarked that the collaboration between Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group and Zero Carbon will play a great role in environment sustainability and reducing carbon footprint. He also mentioned that Zero Carbon will implement state-of-the-art solar systems across KMLG properties.
Kohinoor Maple Leaf Group is a big name in the Pakistani market. The company came into existence after the ramification of the Saigol Group of Companies. Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited, is a reputable manufacturer of textiles, whereas Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited is a well-known cement manufacturer in Pakistan.
